The perception of a child differs greatly in comparison to that of an adult. The child is not just different because they have yet to mature like an adult but because the child's mind has yet to learn through a cognitive lesson what an adult considers right or wrong by merit's of the adults own experience. A child has all of the answers at the time due to the nature of a situation because the child has only been born with an adaptive lifestyle which is encompassed by love, innocence, and need for social interaction to grow. Nature-nurture has not had time to establish the child's own reasons for his/her personal beliefs. So before one dismisses a child's suggestion to life's problems, remember where their mind is and how we as adults grew into our own.

Just think what might happen if an adult listened to their child's plea, "Please mommy or daddy, spend some time with me!"
